Vegetarians are well provided for with penne with broccoli, garlic and chilli; vegetable millefeuille and wok fried noodles with vegetables, chilli and curry spices, all often featured throughout the year. Other dishes on the menu can include, Thai stir-fried noodles with fresh crab, coriander and lime; Thai green King prawn curry; grilled rib-eye steak with a bearnaise sauce. Every dish is packed with flavour and is incredibly fresh. As with the other restaurants in the Etrusca Group, every effort is made to accommodate customers' requests, with a note on the menu advising them to ask for any dish they may desire but which isn't listed. For dessert, Tao has further surprises in the form of modern and rich confections to accompany your tea or coffee, which comes, of course, from an Espresso machine. Additional menu choices include incredibly affordable bar platters and set menus. Complimenting the varied and exotic menu is an extensive wine list, which has a smart selection of contemporary wines from Europe and the rest of the worlds wine growing regions. Tony, the manager, stresses that Tao is very flexible and able to accommodate parties of any size and budget. There's a private room downstairs for intimate parties of up to 14, while the entire restaurant and courtyard can (and does) accommodate parties of up to 400.
Our menus change regularly and we are therefore unable to guarantee that dishes described here will be available all year round. Please take a look at our menu for confirmation of dishes currently available. |
